About This Release
Little Simz's fifth studio album, No Thank You, pressed on pink and silver swirl vinyl.
No Thank You is a powerful and introspective exploration of independence, self-worth and the pressures of the music industry, blending conscious hip-hop, soul, jazz and gospel influences with rich orchestral arrangements. Released in 2022 and produced by longtime collaborator Inflo, the album addresses themes of exploitation, personal growth and artistic freedom across standout tracks including “Angel”, “Gorilla”, “Heart on Fire” and “No Merci”. Combining sharp lyricism, deeply personal storytelling and cinematic production, No Thank You showcases Little Simz’s distinctive voice and uncompromising artistic vision, further establishing her as one of the most compelling figures in contemporary British hip-hop.
