The Unforgettable Fire marked a major creative turning point for the Irish band, moving beyond the harder rock of War toward a more atmospheric and experimental sound. Originally released in 1984 and produced by Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois—their first studio collaboration with U2—the album features classics including “Pride (In the Name of Love),” “Bad,” “A Sort of Homecoming” and the title track.
